The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has passed away, two days after the celebration of his 90th birthday.
It was gathered that the foremost Ibadan traditional ruler joined his ancestors in the early hours of Monday.
Oba Olakulehin died even as activities are still ongoing to celebrate his 90th birthday and his first anniversary on the throne as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
He succeeded the late Oba (Dr) Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II who joined his ancestors in 2024, barely two years after he got to the throne.
Newscoven.com gathered that the Ibadan traditional chiefs will be going to see Governor ‘Seyi Makinde to officially informed him of the passage of the Ibadan forst-class traditional ruler.
This was as family members were reportedly seen, in the early of Monday, moving out the personal belongings of the late Olubadan.
