Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has approved the constitution of and appointments into some key boards in the state.
The approval of the constitution and appointments was contained in a press statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Tokunbo Talabi.
As contained in the statement, newly-constituted boards included the following:
Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) with Hon. Ifede Joshua as the chairman.
Other members of the Ogun SUBEB included Barr. Femi Odufowokan; Hon. Isiaka Aderounmu; Abiodun Donald Ajayi and Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun.
The Ex-Officio members of the board were Mrs Kemi Adeogun; Hon. Wale Adeogun; Hon. Waheed Ogundele; Stephen Kolawole Odusanya and Hon. Moroof Paramole.
Governor Abiodun gave approval to the appointment of Hon. Yemi Adelani as the chairman of the Ogun State Housing Corporation.
Similarly, Hon. Suraju Logere; Fatai Ajigbare; Olalotan Olusegun; Sunday Sowunmi; Chief Sogbamu Ayinde; Mr. Kolawole Isola; Alhaji Abiola Logere; Hon. Idowu Olumuyiwa; Mr. Adeyinka Adeleye and Adenle Nojeem were appointed asembers of the corporation.
Johnson Fatoki was appointed as the chairman of the Ogun State Water Corporation, while Akeran Jimoh, Engr. Femi Oyebanjo, Hon. Gafar Balogun, Hon. Omowunmi Adéwálé and Mrs Ganiyat Abiola Busari were appointed as members of the Corporation.
In the same vein, Governor Abiodun approved the appointments of Hon. Wale Habeeb Ajayi and Honourable Waliu Taiwo as chairmen of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Board and Ogun State Agricultural Development Corporation, respectively.
