Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has taken a deep reflection on the occasion of his 57th birthday and, with a heart of gratitude, declared “Grateful Beyond Words” to celebrate his birthday.
A reflective Sanusi, the founder of Ilaji Hotels and Resort, took to his Facebook page, on Friday, to state that birthdays are not just about counting years, but counting grace, memories and lives that have crossed one’s path.
“Today, I pause with a heart full of gratitude. Life has taught me many lessons, but none greater than the power of faith, love, and people.
“Birthdays, to me, are not just about counting years, they’re about counting grace, memories, and the lives that have crossed paths with mine along the way.
“I am profoundly thankful to God for the gift of life, good health, family, friends, and for everyone who has walked this journey with me, through moments of triumph and moments of trial,” he stated.
Sanusi, the Asiwaju of Ona Ara Local Government and Bada Olubadan-designate, also revealed what he holds dear, declaring that no one can truly succeed, all alone.
“If there’s one truth I hold dear, it is that no one truly succeeds alone. Every milestone I have reached has been made meaningful by those who believed in me, supported me, and trusted me, even when the road wasn’t easy,” he wrote.
Sanusi added: “I have always believed that true fulfilment comes not from what we possess, but from what we give; from the smiles we inspire; the dreams we help nurture; and the hope we ignite in others.
“So, as I celebrate another year, my greatest joy is knowing that, in some small way, I have been able to touch lives and open doors for others,”
Sanusi also expressed appreciation as he stated: “To everyone who has been part of my story, thank you. Your love, prayers, and presence mean far more than words could ever express.
“Here’s to another chapter to growth, to grace, and to the continued pursuit of purpose and impact. Happy birthday to me. All glory to the Almighty.”
