“There is a clear proviso, however. President Bola Tinubu has 10 things he should do to be able to win a second term tenure in the 2027 elections, even without campaigning, vis-a-vis…”
The race towards the 2027 elections has, indubitably, gathered momentum, just as President Bola Tinubu, without campaigning, seems to be coasting home, unassailably, to victory, barring unforeseen or supernatural circumstances.
The Hurdles Before Tinubu Ahead 2027 Elections
However, and in spite of the confidence Tinubu and the leadership of his party, the All Progress Congress (APC), are exuding, it is becoming quite apparent that a victory at the 2027 polls may not be an easy ride for the president, as he had it in the 2023 presidential poll.
Unlike in the pre-2023 elections when his ardent supporters strongly believe in the messianic role of the former governor of Lagos State, the Tinubu Presidency has been showing the failings identified in successive administrations in the country. This is especially the glaring failure of his immediate predecessor, the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
With all intents and purposes, the Daura-born late former military dictator proved to be a dismal and colossal failure in all facets of public governance, especially the economy, welfare and security.
Without any iota of political sentiments, Tinubu has demonstrated, like others before him, that his presidency has been nothing, but an abysmal disappointment in the area of security of lives and property.
Contrary to claims in official quarters, Nigerians have, on a daily basis, become exasperated in the present administration for failing to live up to its billings to provide one of the basic constitutional essentials of governance namely, safety of Nigerians and their property, among other glaring failures.
Optimism, Despite All
However, in the midst of the apparent failures, quite a number of Nigerians are optimistic, though rhetorically, that Tinubu may, in 2027, go the way of former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Buhari and record his name in the Nigerian history as the third incumbent civilian president to have won the presidential election, back-to-back.
There is a clear proviso, however. As enunciated by Charles Awuzie, President Bola Tinubu has 10 things to do to be able to win the presidential election in 2027, even without campaigning, vis-a-vis…
10 Things Tinubu Must Do To Win In 2027
Number 1: A complete extermination of Boko Haram
Number 2: Wiping out of Boko Haram and insurgents
Number 3: Wiping out Boko Haram and insecurity
Number 4: Focus on Number 1
Number 5: Focus On number 2
Number 6: What are you still waiting for to use all our national military might to reset the security architecture of Nigeria?
Number 7: Wear a military regalia EVERY DAY, going forward, signaling that Nigeria has entered its fiercest war against insecurity.
Number 8: Solve insecurity and destroy anyone or anything that stands in your way.
Number 9: Forget about winning the election, if you want to win the election.
Number 10: Solve Insecurity and reset the economy.
As noted by Awuzie, if all of the above should happen, the entire opposition will become useless and rendered impotent, ahead of a Tinubu victory in 2027.
“There is a governor who is not campaigning for a second term – he is even doing shakara.
“If that governor wants to hurt his enemies right now, he would simply announce that he is no longer contesting – the biggest protest in the history of Nigeria will automatically begin.
“We want to replicate that level of success at the national level. And we know that President Tinubu is the only person in the entire country who can do this.
“We do not take lightly all that Mr. President has achieved – I am not a politician.
“I cannot also compare Mr. President’s job to that of a state Governor.
“Even the most ignorant Nigerian knows that leading Nigeria as a president is different from leading a state as a governor.
“Even you, Mr. President, you transformed Lagos with more ease than now that you are saddled with the responsibility of transforming Nigeria.
“So I will NEVER disregard, disrespect or insult the great work of Mr. President,” Awuzie stated.
He however stated, pointedly, that, at this point, every good work of President Tinubu is being insulted by the evil work of insecurity.
“The biggest insult to this administration is INSECURITY – not critics or politicians in the opposition.
“Boko Haram insulted and defeated Buhari. A whole General Buhari left behind the most insecure country.
“If insecurity defeats President Tinubu who is considered the most intelligent strategist to ever preside over Nigeria, then what would be the hope of average Nigerians like me?
“Mr. President, ignore everyone telling you that security has improved. They are belittling your greatness. They think you are the type to celebrate mediocrity as success.
“I am being very sincere and this is not sarcasm. Millions of Nigerians are hoping on you to STOP THIS CRIMINALITY this year sir.
“Millions of Nigerians will not support anyone who would say “give me a second term to solve insecurity” even if they are given 10 bags of rice.
“Sir, I have always praised you when you take proactive action. In fact, many people even believe that you have paid me lol.
“Some call me APC tool but, Sir, I am only a tool in the hands of logic, solutionism and respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty.
“I take no sides – at least, not after watching how politicians easily forgive themselves and work together despite past wars.
“Mr. President, do not wait for a tweet from Donald Trump before you show workings. That undermines our own sovereignty.
“Act NOW so that when next Trump or his American friends tweets, we will rise to defend you.
“Mr. President, I see danger. Mr. President, I know you control the largest security intelligence network in Africa and you know that there’s danger.
“Act NOW, MY PRESIDENT. We wish you success. Even Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar would want you to succeed sir, because your success is our success too.
“We can do a little political jigijigi here and there to ginger you but, Sir, Nigerians do not hate any leader, except the one who wastes their time while lives are wasted.
“They may be powerless – may even lack power to choose their own leaders but Nigerians will mock the death of any leader who refuses to listen to them. I am not like that, but how many Nigerians are also like me?
“This is an honest letter from a Nigerian who no longer cares about religion, tribe or political party; a Nigerian who wants you to succeed but won’t be afraid to scream when we are failing.
“Mr. President, no terrorist should be considered a Nigerian or have any rights under our constitution. It doesn’t matter who they are – whether they are in the South-East or North-East, they must be dealt with decisively.
“This is the SHORT TERM need of the nation. You have done well for the long term macroeconomic needs, but you now need to fix these short term needs in a revolutionary way.
“My name is Charles Awuzie and I want peace for Nigeria and the world,” Awuzie wrote on Facebook.
