The Word Communication Ministries (WOCOM) will, this Saturday, commence its Triple Celebrations 2025 with the empowerment of youths with laptops, phones and power banks.
President/Setman of the ministries, Apostle Sunday Popoola, made this known during a press conference held at the church headquarters in Ibadan, on Saturday, to kick off the three-in-one celebrations.
Apostle Poppola stated that the event will officially celebrate the annual convention, the 40th anniversary of WOCOM and his own 70th birthday.
He said about 5,000 youths are expected at the empowerment programme, noting, however, that only some of them would be given the laptops, phones and power banks, through raffle draw.
“This is for impartation of the young people to give them a leap forward in life and destiny and empower some with laptops, phones, power banks.
“Obviously, we are not going to give out laptops, phones, power banks and other devices to everybody. But we are going to conduct raffles and those who will participate and win will receive either laptops, phones or power banks.
“We are using the raffles to select those that will be given the devices because obviously there will be about 5,000 of them and we cannot afford to give all of them.
“Of course, there is going to be a small gift for everyone of them; everyone will go home with something. But those youths who win the raffles will receive laptops, phones and power banks,” he said.
