Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao has sent a condolence message to the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, over the passage of his wife, Olori Christiana Solape Abolarin.
The wife of the Orangun of Oke-Ila passed away on Tuesday.
In a condolence message, Olugbon described the late Olori Solape Abolarin as a loving wife and kind-hearted, stressing that she was a pillar of support for her husband.
The statement read: “I learnt with shock the passage of Olori Solape Christiana Abolarin, the Queen of Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin.
“My friendship with Oba Abolarin afforded me the opportunity to interact with Olori Solape over the years.
“She was a loving wife and a kind-hearted human being who also shared the good values of compassion, giving and community service for which Oba Abolarin is well known and celebrated.
“Olori Solape was a good complement for Kabiyesi in his efforts to give hope to the hopeless and transform Oke-Ila. She will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who came into contact with her for one reason or another.
“On behalf of my Olori, Olusola Adedoyin-Alao and the good people of Orile-Igbon, I commiserate with the Orangun, Oba Adedokun Abolarin and the people of Oke-Ila. May God grant her beautiful soul eternal rest.
“My prayer is that God will give Kabiyesi the fortitude to bear this huge loss, comfort him and the family and the good people of Oke-Ila, and Igbeti where she hailed from.”
