Makinde Has Endeared Himself To The People-Lawal
The chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal, has declared that the state governor, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde, has endeared himself to the people with his various programmes and policies.
He said this to register his appreciation to the governor who recently promoted many of the staff of the corporation who were said to have suffered stagnation in their career progression for several years.
Barrister Lawal, in a release by the Housing Corporation’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Kunle Sanni, said Governor Makinde had, by the singular action, put smiles on the faces of many people in the state.
The release stated that the chairman, while speaking with the staff on the release of their promotion letters, noted that “the governor had continued to endear himself to not only the public servants but the entire citizenry who would no doubt benefit from the promotion in one way or the other.”
He further said the promotion of many staff of the corporation would surely re-energise the entire workforce for improved service delivery.
While calling on the workers of the corporation to reciprocate the government’s gesture by improving on their productivity, Barrister Lawal assured Governor Makinde of maximum cooperation and loyalty from all and sundry.
