Burna Boy, Davido Settles Rift
African music giant, Burna Boy, has openly announced the settlement of a long time rift between him and fellow music star, Davido.
The Grammys Award winner made the open disclosure via his Instagram handle on the last day of 2021 to celebrate the New Year.
Burma Boy admitted that truly there has been a beef between him and Davido, but stated that they have settled the rift and that they are now on good termsm
He wrote: “FYI, I have no issues with Davido. We good now. David wasn’t trying to 1 on 1 me, but we figured it out. 2022, all of us must love ourselves by force.
“If not, make we just kill [each other] – no middle ground again. Forward ever, backward never. This is my last post of 2021, God bless us all.”
Recall that the two musicians once had a public dispute in Ghana in early 2020.
While the misunderstanding lasted between the duo, their music and lyrics reflected their misunderstanding and this can be felt in songs like ‘FEM,’ ‘Way Too Big’ and ‘Real Life’ featuring Stormzy.
