African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat has invited stakeholders to register and participate in the Creatives Connect Afrika Forum and Festival 2025, taking place in Accra, Ghana from 24 to 26 November.
As stated in a press release, the invite to register is part of the preparation by Ghana to host delegates from across the world at the inaugural Creatives Connect Afrika Forum and Festival www.creativesconnectafrika.comarenow at an advanced stage.
AfCFTA Secretariat, in partnership with the Ghana Office of the President, represented by the Black Star Experience and Africa Tourism Partners (ATP), is inviting filmmakers, directors, producers, or storyteller, fashion designers, musicians and like-minded stakeholders from the African Continent and beyond to register and attend the event.
Creatives Connect Afrika is the inaugural Festival and Forum designed to spotlight Africa’s creative industries as catalysts for trade and continental integration.
The groundbreaking event, to be hosted in La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, would expectedly bring together creative investors, and industry leaders for dialogue, deal-making, and celebration.
Through film, the Creatives Connect Afrika will showcase African films through film screenings, masterclasses, and industry networking, empowering filmmakers to collaborate, share stories, and shape the future of the continent’s film industry.
The Fashion component of the event will showcase African fashion blends tradition and innovation, with designers, models, and textile artists exhibiting collections, forging partnerships, and driving conversations on sustainability, ethical production, and market growth.
Electrifying performances of different music genres, in addition to various collaborative workshops, and industry networking, fostering cross-continental partnerships and innovation in the thriving music scene will be witnessed for the first time in Accra.
