Lagos socialite, Farida Abdulkabir, was, on Thursday evening, saved from committing suicide, following the crash of her marriage reported to have cost N100million.
Farida, the owner of House of Phreedah, was reportedly rescued at the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos while attempting to commit suicide.
The popular socialite and skincare vendor, has been in the news recently over reports of her crashed marriage.
Amidst the reports of the crisis in her marriage, Farida was seen in videos in which some people were seen stopping her from carrying out the suicide mission on the Third Mainland Bridge, Thursday evening.
The Surulere, Lagos-based beautiful socialite was married to another Lagos big boy and socialite, Demola Okulaja.
They had an elaborate wedding ceremony recently, with the owner of the House of Phreedah reportedly expending N100million on the ceremony.
However the relationship between the two broke down irretrievably, barely two months in the marriage, as the couple were said to be having various issues.
The turn of events and the irreconcilable difference between Farida and her husband may have led the Lagos socialite to attempting to commit suicide.
Things got to a head between Farida and her husband reportedly following series of domestic violence between them.
Farida was said to have eventually ran into crisis when husband reportedly packed out of their matrimonial home to meet a side chick he was dating before their marriage.
At the peak of the crisis, the estranged couple were said to have been giving out family secrets on the social media.
They were also attacking themselves, calling themselves ridiculous, unprintable names and giving out shocking revelations.
The estranged husband was reported to have said to have referred to the owner of House of Phreedah as an 80-year-old woman whom he does not have any sexual feeling for.
Things got so bad between the two as efforts reportedly made to broker peace between Farida and her husband and save their marriage proved abortive.
