He made this known in his address at the OSCOTECH Alumni Reunion, held on Saturday in London, United Kingdom.
Governor Adeleke, represented at the event by the chairman of OSCOTECH Governing Council, Prince Diran Odeyemi, said the significance of education in the transformation of societies cannot be overstated.
He added that, as the demand for quality education rises, “it is our duty to ensure that our institutions are adequately equipped to meet these demands.”
The governor reaffirmed that his administration remained committed “to the values that define us, which are integrity, excellence, and service to society.”
Governor Adeleke recalled that OSCOTECH is a legacy of his late brother and the first civilian governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.
He stated that he believed in continuing the works of those before him and taking care of necessary upgrades and maintenance.
He said: “It is the cornerstone upon which progress is built, and institutions like OSCOTECH play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and talents that will shape the future.
“As we gather here in London, it is a poignant reminder that the knowledge and skills acquired at OSCOTECH have transcended borders, making positive impacts on a global scale.
“I am committed to working tirelessly to enhance the infrastructure, faculty, and curriculum of OSCOTECH and other educational institutions in Osun State,” he said.
The governor said the OSCOTECH Alumni Reunion was testament to the enduring spirit of togetherness and shared commitment to the advancement of education, “not only in our beloved state but also across the world.”
He thanked the organisers of the event, declaring: “Your dedication and tireless efforts in bringing us all together, despite the distances that separate us, are commendable.

“We gather here in London to celebrate the growth and achievements of our state, as well as the strong bond between you and your alma mater.
“We are also here today to celebrate our shared history and look to the future as committed stakeholders in service to humanity,” he said.
Governor Adeleke however emphasised the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in achieving sustainable progress.
He further said: “I call upon the alumni, who have excelled in their respective fields, to join hands with us in this endeavour.
“Your expertise, networks, and resources are invaluable assets that can help elevate our educational system to new heights.
“As we look back on the years that have passed, we cannot help but be inspired by the incredible accomplishments of you, our graduates.

“But today’s gathering is not just about nostalgia or accolades. It is about strengthening our ties and forging new ones.
“We need your guidance and support to excel in education, health, agriculture, economy, and social infrastructure.
“Your experiences and insights can help us adapt and evolve in a rapidly changing world.
“We urge you to give back not just financially, but also through mentorship, collaboration, and representing our state and the OSCOTECH ideals.
“Your association with us is a lifelong commitment, and we want you to be an integral part of our journey as we shape the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
“We are here to celebrate the enduring spirit of this institution and the remarkable individuals it has nurtured.

“But beyond the accomplishments and accolades, what truly sets our institution apart is the sense of community and belonging that it fosters.
“The bonds formed within those hallowed halls endure, transcending time and distance. It is heartening to witness the close relationships among you, and it is a testament to the enduring impact of your alma mater.
“As the Visitor to your institution, I have appointed Hon Diran Odeyemi, a Prince from Ibokun, as the Chairman of the Governing Council. He is my representative and must ensure the smooth running of the college.
“Further to this, I also pledge to continue my unwavering support for OSCOTECH, ensuring that it remains a beacon of knowledge, a hub of innovation, and a source of inspiration for all who pass through its gates,” he said.
He thanked the OSCOTECH Alumni for their support for the institution, noting that “the future of OSCOTECH is brighter because of your presence and your unwavering support.
“You are the living embodiment of our motto, and you make us proud every day. Let this reunion remind us of what we can achieve together and motivate us to aim higher in the future.
