The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) presents Nigeria with an opportunity to rebuild its foundations through bold reforms, people-centred governance, and long-term thinking.
While national policies set the direction, their true success depends on how well they are interpreted, implemented, and defended at the grassroots, where governance directly touches the lives of the people.
For communities like Ibadan South-West Constituency 1, where I come from, Renewed Hope must go beyond Abuja pronouncements. It must reflect in accessible healthcare, responsive legislation, youth inclusion, economic empowerment, and accountable representation at the state level.
As it is, Renewed Hope requires grassroots translators. The reality is simple. No national agenda can succeed without strong state assemblies and committed constituency representatives who understand local needs and can align them with broader policy objectives.
For better understanding, the Renewed Hope Agenda emphasizes economic restructuring and sustainability, investment in infrastructure and human capital development, social protection and inclusive growth, and the strengthening of institutions and service delivery.
These goals demand legislators who are not disconnected elites, but products of the community, deeply rooted in the struggles and aspirations of the people.
The IreNiTiwa blueprint is built on a simple but powerful belief. Good governance belongs to the people, and leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege.
In Ibadan South-West Constituency 1, IreNiTiwa represents representation that listens before legislating, policies shaped by community realities, oversight that protects public interest, and development driven by people, not politics.
This philosophy aligns naturally with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President, because national renewal can only be sustained when constituencies feel seen, heard, and served.
My aspiration to represent the good people of Ibadan South-West Constituency 1 in the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2027 is anchored on the conviction that leadership must translate vision into action, and policy into impact.
As we look toward 2027, the task before us is to build a constituency that is not only politically relevant, but development driven and people oriented. One where representation is felt, not just announced.
Renewed Hope is working. IreNiTiwa is ready to amplify it.
The work begins with us.
