The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, on his 58th birthday.
In his congratulatory statement, Alli described Sanusi as a distinguished engineer, community leader and philanthropist whose commitment to humanity and community development deserves recognition.
He said Sanusi’s life reflects generosity, purposeful leadership and service to society, noting that his contributions extend beyond professional achievements to community development and the welfare of less privileged people.
The APC governorship candidate said Sanusi’s dedication to uplifting people and supporting worthy causes underscores the importance of responsible leadership, particularly at a time when communities need individuals willing to deploy their resources, influence and experience to address societal challenges.
According to Alli, Sanusi’s traditional titles, including Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, reflect the recognition of his leadership and commitment to the development of his people.
He therefore urged the celebrant to remain steadfast in his philanthropic activities, stressing that the true measure of influence lies not merely in positions occupied or titles held, but in the positive impact made on people’s lives and the lasting legacies created for future generations.
Saying Nigeria needs more citizens who combine professional excellence with compassion, patriotism and a willingness to contribute to the common good. The APC candidate noted that Sanusi’s 58th birthday should inspire renewed dedication to community service, youth empowerment and initiatives that expand opportunities for vulnerable members of society.
Alli prayed for renewed strength, sound health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, expressing hope that his 58th year would bring more opportunities to serve humanity and contribute to the peace, progress and prosperity of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
