A delegation from the Aliko Dangote Foundation has paid a visit to Dr Rami Ahmad, Vice President (Operations) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) at the bank’s headquarters in Jeddah.
The delegation was led by Ms. Zouera Youssoufou, Managing Director/CEO of Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) in company of Mr. Ahmed Iya, Head of Community Engagement & Polio Eradication of ADF.
The delegation used the occasion of the visit to highlight the activities of the Foundation so far which made great impact on people of all races.
It stated that the Aliko Dangote Foundation has enhanced opportunities for social change through strategic investments that improve health and wellbeing, promote quality education, and broaden empowerment opportunities for individuals and communities.
Also speaking, the IsDB chief, Dr. Rami, expressed his expectation of a good and rewarding partnership between the two organisations.
He stated that many member countries of the IsDB faced pressing debt challenges that constrained their investments in people and livelihoods.
