UI Alumni Hold 2019/2020 Secondary School Debate Competition
The University of Ibadan Alumni Association, Oyo State Branch, will, on Wednesday, hold the 2019/2020 edition of the annual Secondary School Debate Competition.
The competition, as contained in a press release by the chairman, Bello Adetokunbo and Chairperson, Education Committee, Okesade R.F., will hold at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan by 9am prompt.
The UI Alumni Association, Oyo State Branch, through its education outreach program, has, over the years, put together initiatives that are geared towards the resuscitation of educational values in public secondary schools in Nigeria, particularly Oyo State.
“The competition’s overall goal is to initiate a confidence creation amongst the youth towards building an independent and savvy generation.
“This annual competition has inspired thousands of young people in many schools across Oyo State,” the press release added.
