Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based comic musician but an indigene of Ilorin, Kwara State who became popular for his iconic phrase “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay,” has died.
As reported by ROYAL NEWS, a family source disclosed that Senwele, who hailed from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, passed away on Friday night.
He became a popular face in the entertainment circle with his remarkable performances and unique style of entertainment which earned him widespread admiration among socialites.
The family source further disclosed that Senwele did not show any sign of illness before his sudden death on Friday night.
“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source said.
Reports indicate that the family received an emergency call from where Senwele had been staying with fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source revealed.
