The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has congratulated the Chairman-designate of the Commission’s Board, Mr Idris Olorunnimbe and other designate-board members.
The regulatory agency also congratulated designated-members of the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) Board, all nominated for appointment by President Bola Tinubu.
NCC Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Dr Aminu Maida, stated in a congratulatory message that the leadership team of the Commission, as constituted by the president, comprised highly esteemed individuals of proven competence, with vast experience and impressive track records.
“Their collective expertise is expected to steer the communications industry in the right direction, providing the impetus to further transform Nigeria’s digital economy.
“They will bring to bear their wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, and strong governance to enhance the regulatory work of the Commission,” he added.
Maida expressed the profound appreciation of the NCC to President Tinubu for the appointments, adding that the Commission looked forward to working closely with its supervising ministry and the Board to deliver on Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria’s digital economy.
