The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has assured applicants that concerted efforts are being made to make its job recruitment application portal a seamless process.
The anti-narcotics agency stated this in a statement to apologise to those seeking to participate in its ongoing recruitment exercise.
The agency declared that the challenges they are facing on the application portal would soon be resolved.
Barely few hours after the online application portal was opened, last Sunday, it began to experience glitches due to the heavy traffic of over 200,000 applicants trying to access the system.
However, the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, in a release, assured that the challenges that came up with the glitches would soon be resolved.
Towards this end, he stated that the agency upgraded the infrastructure on Tuesday to accommodate the large volume of applicants.
He noted that over 53,170 applicants had already successfully logged into the portal.
“At the moment, the system is synchronising the data at the back-end of the infrastructure, in order to adjust to the server upgrade,” he stated.
In the meantime, the agency’s management has tendered its apologies to the applicants for the hitches being experienced.
This was as it also urge the applicants to “exercise patience while the system completes synchronisation to serve them better.”
