AY Comedian has reacted to the news of his house razed by fire, saying God and family matter most to him.
It was reported on Sunday that the popular comedian whose real name is Ayo Makun lost some parts of his house in Lekki, Lagos State to a mysterious fire.
Newscoven.ng gathered that the comedian, who shares fence with music star, 2Face Idibia, was happy that his family were not affected by the fire incident.
The comedian, currently out of the country was happy, saying he was grateful that no life was lost in the fire incident.
AY Comedian did not reveal the cause of the fire incident which reportedly last for about two hours.
He was particularly happy however that his wife and daughters were not caught in the inferno.
“Family and God are the important factors in life. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to reunite with you guys in the US soon,” he said.
The Lagos home of AY Comedian was reportedly gutted by fire. Properties worth millions of naira have been lost to the inferno.
The video of the burning house showed the Lagos State Fire Service truck trying to quench the raging fire.
Many colleagues and fans of the comedian have sympathised with the comic actor and his family.
This was as they were happy that no life was lost, while also praying to God to replace the loss incurred by AY Comedian in the fire incident.
The Ondo State-born popular comedian was born in 1971, having celebrated his 51th birthday anniversary in August 2022.
He had said then that he was grateful to God because he was in the hospital throughout August 2022.
AY Comedian has two daughters, Michelle and Ayomide, with his wife, Mabel.
The couple got married in November 2008 and had their two daughters within an interval of 13 years.
