Okanlomo Oodua, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, hosted a leading governorship aspirant on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Sharafadeen Alli, during a courtesy visit to Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan.
Alli, currently representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the Senate, is seeking to contest the governorship election in Oyo State in 2027.
The Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, speaking after the meeting, described Senator Alli, as a committed political leader and brother whose passion for the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria remained commendable.
“It gladdens my heart to host my brother, the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, at Ilaji Resort,” he stated.
Both Sanusi and the APC governorship aspirant used the opportunity of the visit to deliberate on strategic political engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The two leaders laid emphasis on mobilisation and support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The discussions also centred on national development, unity in APC, youth inclusion in governance, and strengthening progressive politics across Oyo State and the South-West Region.
Chief Dotun Sanusi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives and collaborations that would promote sustainable development, peace, and political stability in the country.
