African Tourism Partners (ATP) has announced that the 8th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) & Awards will be held in the province of Limpopo, South Africa from 2 to 4 September 2026.
It disclosed in a statement that “after successful stops in Ghana, Rwanda, and Botswana, our next big gathering will be in Polokwane, the perfect gateway to Southern Africa.”
The 8th ATLF & Awards is monumental shift in the continental travel landscape as the city of Polokwane in the Limpopo Province prepares to host the event.
It is a prestigious gathering positioned as the primary mechanism for shaping the future of African hospitality and aviation.
It is observed that the ATLF & Awards will bring together an influential assembly of tourism ministers, industry CEOs, and high-level stakeholders to deliberate on the acceleration of sustainable tourism across the continent.
ATP added the event is all about bringing together the best of African culture and modern business travel.
“We are focusing heavily on how tourism and the airline industry can work better together to make traveling across our continent easier, more affordable, and more sustainable for everyone,” it stated.
The ATLF & Awards has been described as the ultimate meeting place for ministers, government leaders, CEOs, C-Suite executives, captains of industries, travel trade, entrepreneurs, tourism professionals and travel experts to turn big ideas into real-world progress for “Destination Africa”.
A major highlight of the week is the Africa Tourism Leadership Awards, which honours the people and businesses making a real difference in how we travel.
