The last has not been heard of the Osun State governorship election, held last Saturday as The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has disclosed that it was finalising the documentation of victims of election-related violence during the exercise.
TICC spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi, Esq., made the disclosure in a press release, on Tuesday.
The campaign organisation of the re-elected Governor Ademola Adeleke therefore called on members of the public who were yet to submit details of affected persons to do so.

TICC, once again, extended its sympathies to every individual and family who suffered loss of life, injury, assault, destruction of property, arrest or any other form of violence before, during and immediately after the election.
“Further to our earlier statement directing the documentation of all victims of election-related violence across Osun State, the Campaign Council is now finalising the exercise and calls on members of the public who are yet to submit details of affected persons to do so.
“We reiterate that this exercise is not party-based. It covers every victim, irrespective of political affiliation, party membership or voting preference.
“A citizen who lost a loved one, suffered injury or lost property deserves our collective sympathy, adequate support, justice and appropriate compensation without consideration for his or her political persuasion,” it was stated in the release.
The campaign council requested members of the public to submit the details of the victims as follows:
Name of victim; local government area, ward and community; phone number or details of Next of Kin; nature of incident (death/injury/assault/property damage/arrest); date and location of incident;
Brief account of what happened; available evidence (photos/videos/medical or police reports/witnesses; current condition or status of the victim.
It stated that “All outstanding reports and supporting evidence should be forwarded by text message or WhatsApp to: +234 703 743 9142.”
TICC gave Friday, 21 August, 2026 as the deadline for all submissions, adding, “The purpose of this documentation is not merely to keep a record.
“It is to provide a credible basis for pursuing justice, accountability, adequate support and appropriate compensation for victims and affected families.
“Osun comes first.”
