Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has donated solar-powered streetlights to residents of Ojebode Community in Ward 10, Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The action of Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, was described as a remarkable gesture aimed at enhancing community development and improving public safety.
As stated in a press release by his Media Office, the presentation ceremony, held on Thursday, at Ilaji Hotels and Resort, attracted community members and stakeholders who gathered to witness the impactful initiative.
Expectedly, the solar-powered streetlights would significantly improve visibility, boost security, and promote socio-economic activities within the Ojebode Community, especially during nighttime.
