The Muslim Community of the prestigious Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort has announced that the 2024 edition of its Annual Moulid Nabiyy will hold on 15 September.
The Community also disclosed that the event will hold at the Ilaji International Mini Stadium.
This year’s celebration will hold as follows: Date: September 15, 2024; Venue: Ilaji International Mini Stadium, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan; Time: 9:00 AM.
The Moulid Nabiyy is a significant event in the Islamic calendar, celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The event provides an opportunity for Muslim faithful to come together in reflection, prayers and thanksgiving. The come together is to honour the Prophet’s legacy of peace, compassion and unity.
This year’s celebration promises to be a spiritually enriching occasion, with religious scholars, community leaders, and distinguished guests expected to grace the gathering.
The programme will include Quranic recitations, special prayers and insightful sermons, all focused on promoting harmony and moral values within the Community.
Speaking ahead of the event, the leadership of the Ilaji Muslim Community expressed the excitement of the Muslim faithful
It noted: “The Moulid Nabiyy is an important tradition for us at Ilaji. We look forward to welcoming both our local and international guests to participate in this special day of remembrance and devotion.”
The event is open to the public. All attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full schedule of activities.
