The 2025 edition of the Annual Efon Alaaye Day will take place from 20 to 24 August with different activities to mark the day taking place in Efon Alaaye Township, Ekiti State.
The activities lined up for the event was contained in a statement by the Publicity Committee and issued by Mr Kola Ajumobi.
It was stated that the Efon Alaaye Day activities will commence on Wednesday, 20 August with a youth anti-drug rally, medical outreaches and social intervention programmes.
By Thursday, 21 August, the Hike and Leisure in the Cloud Fiesta and the Final of Unity Cup Tournament will hold at the Hiking Community.
On Friday, 22 August, there will be Traditional Parade/Homages and the Youth Night/Miss Efon 2025 Cultural Orientation while the grand finale, tagged “EfonXtraVaganza 2025”, will hold on Saturday, 23 August.
There will be a Thanksgiving Service on the final day, Sunday, at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church, Idagba, Efon Alaaye.
Mr Ajumobi further stated: “Natives, friends and well-wishers of Efon Alaaye Kingdom are being expected to converge at the main event Saturday, 23 August, 2025, to fashion out pathways for community development.
The final event on Sunday, according to him, will also be the climax of the 4-day programme holding by 11:00am at the Christ Apostolic Church Grammar School, Efon Alaaye.
