Senator Sharafadeen Alli has described Archbishop Francis Wale Oke as one of the foremost spiritual icons produced by the city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Alli, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State chapter, in the 2027 elections, stated this in a press release he personally issued to congratulate the cleric who marked his 70th birthday on Tuesday.
The Christian leader and televangelist is the 7th President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
He is also the founder and presiding Bishop of the Ibadan-based Sword of the Spirit Ministries, and also the Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan.

Senator Alli described the celebrant as a kingdom general whose global exploits in advancing the gospel have brought immense honour to Oyo State and positively impacted communities, cities, and nations across the world.

Senator Alli further extolled the archbishop’s proven leadership qualities, which have yielded significant success in various leadership capacities, most notably in his current role as the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
“As you continue to expand the Kingdom and impact destinies, I pray for renewed grace, robust health, and many more fruitful years. Ibadan and Oyo State are immensely proud to have you,” the governorship hopeful added.
