The abducted school pupils and their teachers were safely rescued from captivity by security operatives, on Friday, after spending 56 days with their abductors.
The operation was dramatic, as it was highly emotional, given the nationwide fear and apprehension that followed what has been widely condemned as a barbaric act of abduction of young school pupils and their teachers.
The fear was aggravated by the inhuman beheading of the school teacher, Michael Oyedokun, who was said to have attempted to escape from the abductors.
The rescue of the abducted pupils and their teachers has drawn wide applause across the country, as jubilant Nigerians were full of praises for President Bola Tinubu, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde and the security agencies.
