Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will sign a Generational Inclusion Pact at the 2026 Oyo State Emerging Political Leaders Summit.
In what may turn out to be a major political headline ahead of the next electoral cycle, the signing of the pact was described as a key highlight of the launch of the 50 Below 50 Campaign Project.
The summit, scheduled for August 24–25, 2026, at the Ibadan Civic Centre, has the theme “Bridging the Gap, Uniting Political Strength, and Mobilizing Emerging Leaders for 2027.”

Expectedly, it would draw emerging political leaders, party stakeholders, grassroots mobilizers, community influencers, and strategic actors from across Oyo State in what organisers describe as a crucial platform for political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
The planned signing of the pact by Senator Alli has been reportedly already generating buzz as a powerful signal of commitment to youth inclusion, intergenerational partnership, and the expansion of political opportunities for a new generation of leaders.
Coming during the unveiling of the 50 Below 50 Campaign Project, the moment was expected to rank among the defining scenes of the summit.
Organisers stated that the summit was aimed at promoting political reconciliation, strengthening grassroots coordination, deepening inclusion, and broadening support for the APC in Oyo State.
It was also aimed at galvanizing momentum for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027.
The event will also feature heavyweight national figures.
Dr. Zacch Adedeji, PhD, Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, will serve as Chief Facilitator and deliver a session on “Fiscal Renewal, Revenue Mobilization, and the Economic Future of Oyo State in the Context of Nigeria’s Progressive National Agenda.”
His presentation, as expected, would link political leadership with economic reform and governance outcomes.
Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, is the Special Guest of Honour, while Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will deliver the keynote address
He will speak on “Bridging Political Divides, Building Strategic Alliances, and Mobilizing Oyo State for Progressive Victory in 2027.”
With the stakes rising ahead of 2027, the Oyo EPL Summit is fast becoming more than just a gathering — it is shaping into a strategic political moment.
With the APC governorship candidate Senator Sarafa Alli poised to publicly sign the Generational Inclusion Pact, the summit may well deliver one of the most compelling front-page moments in the unfolding political story of Oyo State.
