Akande Congratulates 3SC, Commends Makinde
Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has congratulated the management and players of the Shooting Stars Sports (3SC) Club of Ibadan on the club’s promotion to the Premiership League.
He also commended the state governor, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde, for successfully ensuring that the club, also known as the Oluyole Warriors, returned to the elite football league in the country.
Professor Akande, in a statement, expressed joy that the Oluyole Warriors are back to the elites position in the Nigeria football league where he said they rightly belong.
He expressed optimism that “3SC, as a darling team that is dear to all of us, will re-enact its winning streaks of the years past by qualifying and winning both national and continental laurels in the nearest future.”
Akande commended Governor Makinde for successfully piloting the club to the elite league, adding: “The 3SC is our common heritage and we have every cause to congratulate and commend Governor Seyi Makinde for providing the leadership that led our darling team to the prestigious premier league.”
