Media aide to Oba Ladoja disclosed that some of the affected chiefs included an Ibadan-based legal practitioner and Oyo State governor’s elder brother, Chief Olumuyiwa Makinde, who would be promoted from Aare Onibon to Gbonka Olubadan.
Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Dotun Sanusi would be promoted from Ajia to Bada Olubadan. Similarly, a member of the House of Representatives, Chief Akin Alabi, would be elevated from Jagun to Ajia Olubadan.
