Hon. Aderemi Oseni, representing Ido/Ibarapa East in the House of Representatives, has conveyed warm wishes to Muslim faithful in Oyo State and beyond as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement made available to newsmen, he underscored the significance of spirit of sacrifice and gratitude during this important festival.
“Eid-el-Kabir teaches us the values of sacrifice and devotion. It is a time to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim and to express our gratitude for the blessings we have,” he stated.
Oseni urged the Muslim community to come together in harmony and support one another, especially those in need.
“Let us remember the essence of this Eid-el-Kabir celebration by reaching out to the less fortunate. Our strength lies in our ability to uplift each other.”
Hon. Oseni then expressed hopes for peace, unity, progress and development in the country.
“May this Eid-el-Kabir bring joy and prosperity to all, and may our hearts be filled with love and compassion,” he prayed.
