Born and raised in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Ojudu’s passion for truth and justice led him into journalism, where he became a force to be reckoned with.

With the return of democracy in 1999, Ojudu transitioned from journalism into politics, bringing his integrity and experience to public service.
In 2011, he was elected Senator representing Ekiti Central in the Nigerian Senate, where he championed legislative initiatives that focused on press freedom, human rights, and national development.

His expertise and deep understanding of Nigeria’s socio-political landscape have made him a respected voice in governance and policy formulation.
A prolific writer, public intellectual and mentor to many young journalists and activists, Ojudu continues to contribute to national discourse through his writings, lectures, and public engagements.
His recently released memoir, Adventures of a Guerrilla Journalist, chronicles his remarkable journey in journalism, activism, and public service, serving as an inspiration for the next generation of change-makers.
