SWAAYA Limited, Publishers of an online news medium, Freedom Online, will hold the 6th edition of its yearly lecture on Thursday, 27 February, 2025.
The lecture, with the theme, “Nigeria’s Socio-Political Challenges: Whose Fault, Leaders Or The Led,” will take place at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The lecture, to be hosted by the MD/E-I-C, Freedom Online, Gabriel Akinadewo, will have a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George as the chairman of the occasion.
The Special Guest Speaker is the governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, while a former governor of Ogun State, Senator Gbenga Daniel, is the Special Keynote Speaker.
The Special Guest of Honour at the 6th SWAAYA Yearly Lecture is former Minister of Police Affairs and a former military governor of Bayelsa State, Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade (rtd.).
Guests of Honour are the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams and former DG/CEO of NIMASA, Dr Dakuku Peterside. The Special Guest is Professor Akinyemi Onigbinde, Executive Secretary, Centre for Policy and Development Studies, Ilepa, Ogun State.
Chief Hosts of the 6th SWAAYA Yearly Lecture are President, Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Eze Anaba and President, Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), Maureen Chigbo.
