Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oyo North Senatorial District in the 2023 elections, Akinwale Akinwole, has announced the appointment of Abd-Jeleel Adebare Oyinloye as the Director-General of his campaign organisation.
This was as the PDP senatorial candidate also named Remi Oladoye, a seasoned media practitioner, as the secretary of the campaign organisation.
The appointments were in preparation for the 2023 general election, particularly as it affects the senatorial ambition of the PDP candidate.
Akinwole (aka Wolekanle), in a statement to unveil Oyinloye and Oladoye, said the choice of the former, who is the current chairman of Iwajowa Local Government Area, was informed by his political sagacity.
The PDP senatorial candidate further said he expected Oyinloye, being a grassroots politician, to bring his experience to bear when the campaigns for the election kick off.
He added that other members of the campaign team will be announced soon and urged members of the party and the general public to accord the new appointees necessary respect and cooperate with them in his bid to win the senatorial election in 2023.
