Oyo State Market Leader, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, last Thursday, led the various mobilisation teams of Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi to Ogbomoso as part of the JDS 2027 governorship agenda.
The atmosphere in Ogbomoso was ecstatic as market leaders and various groups in the town assembled to welcome Oyo State Market Leader and her teams.
The JDS mobilisation teams were welcome with intermittent shouts of “Egbe Oloja”, “Egbe Onise-owo”, Onisowo”, “Ogbomoso Parapo” and “O ba je ti”, among others.
The market leaders were effectively coordinated from all the five local government areas that make up Ogbomosoland, by a well-respected influencer, Alhaji Yekeen K, the Asiwaju of all marketers in Ogbomosoland.
Present at the capacity-filled Hall at Arada, Boluyo Area venue were top market leaders, youths and women and also different politically-active groups who all came to solidarise with 2027 JDS Agenda.
Present were leaders of various association, including the president of the All Artisans and Technicians Associations, Ogbomoso (ATAO), Saka Abiodun, iyalojas from Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Surulere and Ogo Oluwa local government areas.
They included Alhaja Ramfat Abdulwahab; Iyalaje Bola Alao, Alhaja Oyedele Oyedele, Dr (Mrs) Mary Afolabi, Babalola Itunu.
Others included Mr Babalola from Ogbomoso South, Mr AbdulRasak, one of the prominent coordinators of the well-orchestrated events and Mr AbdulWahab Moshood who spoke on behalf of the youths.
On the entourage of the Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS) Mobilisation Agenda Team, led by the Iyaloja General, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, were her Personal Assistant (PA), Olori Atoke; Baba Ajongolo of Ibadan Joint Traders Association; and Alhaja Monsurat Oladepo, the Ekefa Iyaloja of Ibadan.
Others were Mrs Oluwatoyin Busari, Iyaloja Eleyele; Olori Jero Ghaddafi Oladiti of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANT); “Hollywood”, the Ibadan North East Coordinator and Princess Ramat Aderonke (Ara), the chairperson of NANT who admonished the youths on active political participation.
Also on the entourage were Alhaji Fatai Usman, the NANT vice chairman and Mr Olosun from Gbagi Market Unit.
Members of Itesiwaju OyoDotun Movement also were on the entourage, including Mr Kehinde Adegoke; Mrs Abiodun Bolanle and Mr Alabi Caleb, who all collated the JDS membership registration.
While speaking, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje appealed for unflinching Support for the JDS Agenda as it unfolds.
She enumerated the numerous impactful interventions of Chief Sanusi in different areas that have attracted the interest of the people in the desire to make him to become the next governor of Oyo State.
Alhaja Konibaje donated money, notebooks and copies of the Oyo NewsFly Magazine, which contained detailed information about Chief Sanusi and the concept of JDS Governorship Agenda.
Various other speakers also spoke in favour of Sanusi and advocated strong support for the realisation of governorship ambition as the events of political affiliation unwind.
