Senator Sharafadeen Alli has described Oba (Senator) Rashidi Ladoja as a true elder statesman, an accomplished politician and a mentor of mentors.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District stated this in a congratulatory message to Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
Alli, in a statement personally signed by him, praised Ladoja’s outstanding contributions to the development of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
He lauded leadership of Oba Ladoja during his tenure as governor, noting that his governance set the foundation for many progressive initiatives in Oyo State.
Alli said Ladoja’s foresight in infrastructural development, dedication to improving education and commitment to the welfare of the people has continued to inspire a generation of leaders across the state.
The APC lawmaker said the tenure of Ladoja as a senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District was marked by immense contributions to national discourse.
Senator Alli also commended the successful ventures of Oba Ladoja as an international businessman and real-time farmer, noting that he exemplified hard work, integrity as well as patriotism.
He described Oba Ladoja as a great mentor of men “whose wisdom, experience, and courage have shaped the political and business landscape of Nigeria.”
The lawmaker expressed personal gratitude for Ladoja’s guidance and leadership, affirming that his values of humility, service and dedication continue to inspire countless individuals both in public service and private enterprise.
“On this special occasion, I wish Oba (Senator) Ladoja good health, more years of wisdom and continued success.
“I pray that Almighty Allah bless you with long life and prosperity, enabling you to continue making significant contributions to the progress and unity of Ibadanland and Nigeria,” Alli stated in the statement.
