Ladoja Charges Housing Corporation Mgt On Legacies Of Its Founders
A former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has charged the leadership of the Oyo State Housing Corporation to keep alive the dreams of the founding fathers of the corporation.
Senator Ladoja gave the charge during a courtesy call on the chairman of the corporation, Barr Bayo Lawal, at the Bodija, Ibadan Headquarters of the corporation.
The former governor, accompanied by his wife, Mutiat Ladoja, said the corporation came into existence to ensure decent and safe environment for members of the public, adding that it has all it takes to ensure the realisation of the objectives.
The Osi Olubadan, in a statement by the corporation’s Director (Information and Public Relations), Kunle Sanni, also admonished the corporation to come up with strategies to modernise all its estates and bring them at par with their likes in other parts of the world.
The former governor commended the chairman of the corporation, Barr Lawal, for his efforts at repositioning the organisation for greater efficiency.
Welcoming the former governor to the corporation, Barr Lawal said the corporation had suffered a neglect in the past which had impacted negatively on its fortunes.
He however disclosed that the corporation, under his leadership, is poised to restore its lost glories and also expressed his readiness to tap from the wealth of experience of the former governor to make it a success story.
