Ekiti 2022: Fayemi Has Laid The Foundation For APC’s Victory -Kayode Ojo
A governorship aspirant on of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Engineer Kayode Ojo, has declared that Governor Kayode Fayemi has laid a solid foundation for the victory of the party in the 2022 governorship election in the state.
According to a statement by his media aide, Alhaji Deji Ayelabowo, the APC chieftain made the declaration in his address at the inauguration of the Ekiti House in Lagos.
Ojo, a metarlugical and measurements engineer, commended Governor Fayemi on his policies and programmes, saying they have impacted and improved the lives of the people of the state.
He said he observed the developmental strides of the Fayemi-led administration since his first term in office, which, according to him, are geared towards making life more comfortable for the people.
“I can see the little things you are doing here and there to make life worth living for the people of Ekiti. Keep it up and we shall build on it when we take over the baton next year,” Ojo said to Fayemi.
Ojo, an industrialist and entrepreneur urged the governor to sustain the good work he was doing and stressed the need for the country to do more on ensuring an enabling environment that would boost investors’ confidence to do business in the state.
He said: “There are great opportunities out there. As government, we need to create conducive conditions for investments to thrive.
“If there is any administration that has meaning to me, this present government has been the best in the history of the state and this is what we shall build on when we get to office in 2022 by the grace of God and with the suppor of the people.
“I have resolved, determined and had made up my mind to give back to humanity for the rest of my life. Hence, the major reason for vying for the number one seat in the state to better the lives of our people.
“I want to use this platform to encourage the people to be resilient, and never give up on your ambition. Stay on your conviction. You will never go wrong.
“Mr Governor, I want to sincerely commend you for your commitment and dedication to take the dtate to the next level and on it, we are going to build, to continue your good work wherever you stop.
“You have printed your name, the name and logo of the party on which you rule in the heart of the people of Ekiti with your performance and imprint. On this, the party will walk to power next year,” the governorship aspirant said.
