CSMC Honours Queen Beejay As Patroness
Cherubim and Seraphim Church Movement (CSMC), Ibadan Zonal District Central Choir, will, on Sunday, honour and decorate the Manchester, United Kingdom-based gospel singer, Bolaji Awoyemi (popularly known as Queen Beejay De Grace), as its Patroness.
The investiture and decoration of Beejay De Grace will take place at the premises of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Agbala Ayo, Felele Straight, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The international gospel singer, in a release by her media consultant, Odunuga Seyifunmi, said the event will attract celebrities, socialites from within and outside the country, as well as popular Yoruba actors and actresses.
“Manchester, United Kingdom-based international gospel singer, Bolaji Awoyemi, popularly known as Queen Beejay De Grace, will, on Sunday, be honoured as the Patroness of the Cherubim Seraphim Church Movement, Ibadan Zonal District Central Choir.
“Queen Beejay De Grace, who recently won the Ogo Yoruba Award, is inviting all friends and family to her investiture as the Patroness of the CSMC, Ibadan Zonal District Central Choir,” the release read in part.
Odunuga said the investiture of Queen Beejay De Grace as the Patroness of the CSMC Zonal Central Choir is in recognition of her contribution to the elevation and propagation of the Gospel, through music.
Among those expected to grace the event, according to the release, are popular Yoruba Nollywood actors, including Latin, Odunlade Adekola, Akin Olaiya, Baba Ijesa and Azeez Ijaduade.
Also expected are popular Fuji musician, Alhaji Adebisi Taye Currency and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Shugaland Solicitors, Barr. Lukman Akinola, among others.
As part of the programme of the event, scheduled to take place at the church premises by 10am, there would be a reception for invited guests at Mauve 21 Events Centre, MKO Abiola Way, Rind Road, Ibadan by 3pm.
