Senator Sharafadeen Alli has called for prayers for national progress as he extended warm greetings to Christians in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Christmas.
Alli, in statement by his Special Adviser (Media), Akeem Abas, emphasised that Christmas is a season of love, peace, compassion, humility, selflessness and reflection on the virtues exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He urged Christians to use the season to pray for the peace, unity, and progress of the nation, while also extending love and support to the less privileged in society.
The federal lawmaker called on Nigerians, regardless of religious affiliation, to embrace the spirit of togetherness, tolerance and understanding to foster a harmonious society.
Senator Alli wished Nigerians Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance, urging the citizens to celebrate responsibly and remain hopeful for a brighter future.
