Fire incident on Otedola Bridge, Lagos.
A fire outbreak has been reported on Otedola Bridge, Lagos State. The incident was said to have started at about 8:10pm, today.
According to an eye-witness report, a loaded fuel tanker caught fire on Otedola Bridge, causing heavy traffic at the Berger-Alausa-Magodo axis of Lagos State.
While the details of the incident and the extent of the damaged are not yet known as at press time, the eye-witness described the incident as quite unfortunate.
“Fire incidents, especially those involving fuel tankers, can be devastating and pose significant risks to lives and property.
“Hopefully, the emergency services are responding quickly to contain the situation and minimise damage,” the eye-witness told Newscoven.com.
The incident is reportedly still ongoing as at 9;45pm.
