Alao-Akala Dies @71
A former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, is dead, aged 71.
Though details of the circumstances of his passage are sketchy as at press time, the retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) was said to have died in his sleep.
Chief Alao-Akala, a former deputy governor during the Senator Rashidi Ladoja administration, was the governor of Oyo State between 2007 and 2011.
