Akala Was A Leader With Milk Of Kindness-Akande
Professor Adeolu Akande, Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has describe the late former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, a leader with milk of kindness.
Akande, who expressed shock over the death of Alao-Akala, also said he was an astute politician and a political leader whose heart was full of compassion for the people.
Akande sympathized with his immediate family, the people Ogbomoso, his political associates, APC members and the entire people of Oyo State and urged them not to be despondent, noting that Alao-Akala died a fulfilled man with enviable accomplishments worthy of celebration.
“It may not just be a coincidence that Otunba’s transition came almost immediately after that of great monarchs who joined their ancestors very recently- the Soun of Ogbomoso and the Olubadan of Ibadan- but rather a divine attestation to his kingly stature and unarguable greatness while with us.
“May God and the heavenly angels accord his soul a befitting reception, forgive his shortcomings and fortify those left behind,” Akande said in a statement.
