Former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has commiserated with the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, over the death of his mother.
Akeredolu’s mother, Lady Evang. Grace Bosede Akeredolu, passed on in the early hours of yesterday, Thursday, at the age of 90 years.
Amosun, CON, FCA, in his condolence message to the Ondo State governor, described the late Mrs Akeredolu as a doting mother who gave quality parenting to her children.
He also said she would be remembered by for her devotion to the service of God and the development of her community.
“As a doting mother that she was, mama will be remembered for the quality parenting she gave to her children and other members of the Akeredolu family.
“She will also be remembered for her devotion to the service of God and the development of her community,” the former Ogun State governor said.
Senator Amosun said it was painful that Mama Grace Bosede Akeredolu had to answer the call of her Creator at this time.
He however enjoined “the entire Akeredolu family to take solace in the knowledge that mama lived a fulfilled life.
“She left behind many enduring legacies, particularly children and families who are responsible members of our society.”
The former Ogun State governor prayed that God will grant the deceased and eternal rest.
He also prayed that God will give her children, particularly Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
