Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has presented Senator (Dr) Lekan Balogun with a Toyota Land Cruiser SUV and Pick-up pilot van, few hours to his installation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government Area, Mr Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, presented the Toyota Land Cruiser given by governor Makinde key to Senator Kola Balogun, who received it on behalf of the Olubadan-designate, at his Alarere residence in Ibadan.
The Olubada-designate, whose appointment was approved by the Oyo State governor on 14 February, would be coronated tomorrow

Expected at the event billed for Mapo Hall, Ibadan, are political heavyweights, business moguls, monarchs and other dignitaries from all walks of life.
Chairman of the Olubadan Coronation Committee, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun, who is also the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), had, on Wednesday, said the state government was ready to host a grand event, befitting of the status of the highly revered traditional ruler.
She congratulated the new Olubadan, his immediate family, the Olubadan-in-Council and the entire sons and daughters of Ibadanland, both home and in the diaspora, on the dawn of a new era.
Mrs Adeosun also urged all to pray for a successful reign for the new paramount ruler of Ibadanland.
