Ace Comedian, Baba Suwe, dies at 63
Ace Nigerian comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, better known as Baba Suwe, has been reported dead at the age of 63.
The death of Baba Sure, who was born on 22 August, 1958, was announced by his son, Adesola Morenikeji Omidina, via his Instagram handle, @Omo_Omidina, on Monday.
The late ace come median was born in Inabere Street in Lagos Island where he grew up but hailed from Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Baba Suwe began acting in 1971 but came into limelight after he featured in a movie titled, Omolasan, a film produced by Obalende.
The news of his death was confirmed by the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin.
Mr Latin said: “It has been confirmed that Baba Suwe is dead. I just got off the phone with his son who confirmed that the actor is dead. I don’t have much details about his death.”
