Oyo State governor ‘Seyi Makinde, will, on Friday, inaugurate the Oyo State Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council of the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
Governor Makinde also doubled as the presidential candidate of the party.
As stated in a release by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the event will be held by 3:30 p.m. at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office.

The Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Adeniran, will serve, both as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and the Director-General of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council.
Other members included: Hon. Saheed Arowosaye (AROSAD), former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, as Deputy State Coordinator, APM 2027 Presidential Campaign
Hon. Demola Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, will serve as the Deputy Director-General (South).
Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Director-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts, respectively.
Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo will be inaugurated as the Director, Women’s Wing.
Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant (Youth) to Governor Makinde, is the Director, Youth Wing.
It was further stated in the release that additional members of the campaign council will be announced in due course.
