The agitators have started the second day of protest against #EndBadGovernance. Dated August 2, 2024, recordings are being made at the scenes of the protest.
The protesters are, this time around, protesting against another bad syndrome: The get-rich-quick syndrome. This is a vice that is rampaging all over Nigeria.
Several businesses and organisations have been affected by the protest. This have made the affected businesses and organisations to lock up their various operational buildings.
As it happened during the first day, the Day Yep of the protest is said to be taking place in all parts of the country. This is especially in the western and northern parts of Nigeria.
As things are, the Federal Government cannot stop the protest and its agitators because they know what they are doing. Nigerians have the full right to protest, as it is written in the constitution.
Nigerians have the right to life, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, right to sue and to be sued. All these laws are in the Constitution of Nigeria.
We are equal before the law. No one is above the law. Even the Federal Government is not greater than the constitution. We all have equal rights.
This protest is for the good of Nigeria and its people. This is so that we can live together as one, in unity. There is a saying that “United we stand, divided we fall.
This is the same thing that applied to Nigeria. For instance, we are not united as one in this nation. This is not supposed to be so.
We are one country, bound with love by the Almighty. A man cannot live in isolation and division. Loneliness can cause depression. This can lead to the death of the affected person and that would not change the situation of Nigeria.
We can make Nigeria an effective and efficient nation by ourselves. With the help of God, through the protest, the Federal Government can succeed in reforming Nigeria.
May God Help Nigeria.
