This is to enable the beneficiaries who does not have the financial means to obtain the forms to partake in this year’s edition of the UTME.
The gesture by the Stallion Circle was part of its commitment to contributing to the upliftment of the educational standards of Epe sons and daughters.
As contained in a statement by its Chief Scribe, Mr Nuhman Edu, the club had during the inauguration of the new executive council on, 27 January, announced its commitment to instituting an education endowment.
The education endowment was instituted to provide scholarships, purchase UTME and GCE forms for indigent students.
Towards this end, The Stallion Circle chose beneficiaries from different schools and quarters of the town.
To ensure the credibility of the exercise, a committee, headed by Mr Dayo Omitaomu, including teachers in Epe, was set up to screen and nominate worthy beneficiaries who could not afford the N8,000 fee for the UTME Form.
Mr Edu added that the club hoped to continue to look towards doing such similar interventions, while also praying for the success of the students in the forthcoming examinations.
