Sun Newspaper has selected Chief (Dr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan, as the recipient of the Sun Hospitality Icon of the Year Award for 2024.
The announcement came from The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of Daily Sun and weekend titles of the paper.
In an official letter addressed to Sanusi, Chairman/CEO of Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort, the management and staff of the newspaper publishing company congratulated him on his notable achievements in the hospitality sector.
The letter highlighted that the Board of Editors conducted a thorough selection process before naming him the award winner.
The formal presentation of the award to Chief Sanusi will take place on March 1, 2025, during an elaborate ceremony at The Sun Awards in Lagos.
The event aims to celebrate outstanding contributions to the hospitality industry and recognise individuals who have made significant impacts.
